Frequently Asked Questions
- Where are you located?
-
I live in and love the quaint town of Fuquay Varina, NC, which for those of you who are not from this area are wondering, is just southwest of Raleigh, NC. I’m always up for a change of scenery though, so definitely ask about travel!
- What is required to book?
-
For portrait sessions, a non-refundable retainer of 50% of your session collection is due to secure and hold your appointment time. The remainder of your session collection fee is due the day of your appointment.
- How far in advanced do you book?
-
Weddings are kind of a big deal you would say. I recommend that you get your date on the calendar as soon as you have your venue and event date finalized. For some people that is a year or more in advanced. For others, it is a few months. It is important to book your wedding with enough notice to schedule and enjoy your engagement session ahead of time. Think of it as our first date. Its our chance to get to know each other and get the posing jitters out before your big day.
Portrait sessions can be booked at any time, but prime weekend appointments tend to fill quickly. I recommend booking 4-6 weeks ahead of time. While newborns are sure to arrive on their own schedule, it is helpful to book with your tentative due date in advance to ensure availability when your little one arrives.
- How long is the typical wait?
-
Portrait session images will available in your online gallery within two weeks of your session. Weddings will be available 4-6 weeks after your wedding day. I can feel your excitement about your images through the computer though! Rest assured, a sneak peak of your highlights will be available on social media within a week. Please allow for additional processing time during high volume events like holiday mini sessions. Please let me know if you need to place a rush order on images.
- What if it rains?!
-
North Carolina weather is notoriously unpredictable. Sessions that need to reschedule due to rain will be allowed one alternate date. Should weather problems persist, sessions may be moved indoors.
